This pump station is designed with two Variable Frequency Drive pumps, totaling 3,500 gpm of flow, a 10,000 gallon pressure tank, and Arkal's 10 unit Galaxy automatic filter.
ESI controller is installed to monitor water level in the wet well, transmit instantaneous flow rates and pressure to the central controller. Other inputs available for monitoring are: water pH, chlorides, and electrical conductivity.
An ESI controller is used to communicate with the programmable Logic Controller (PLC) that operates the two pumps and transmits information to the central controller located on site.

Larkin Property: Dade City, FL
A 1,600 acre farm consisting of 5 groves and 2 hay fields' irrigation system is controlled with ESI's central control system.
Both deep well and gray water at each of the 5 pumping stations are utilized.

Flow meter data and pressure sensors monitor the system for normal operating parameters and the ESI controller activate and de-activate the irrigation system consisting of overhead sprinklers, three center pivots, and grove sprayers.
This system uses spread spectrum radio technology, a non-license method of continuous communication between the field controllers and the central irrigation controller

Two existing pumping stations were upgraded at this site to meet the increasing demands for the 100 acre operation and lead the way towards a fully automated irrigation system.
ESI controllers are installed to operate the irrigation system and pressure switches to detect pressure build up in the lines down stream of each automatic valve.
Power supply enclosures are designed to provide 12 VDC and 24 VAC to each controller. Surge protection and industrial level electrical and electronic equipment are utilized to withstand the hot and humid summers in Florida.
Eldar Shany's FertiJet FA, a chemical injector, injects acid, chlorine, and liquid fertilizer into the irrigation system and monitors pH and EC levels.
FertiJet FA also transmits 4-20 mA signals about its operation to the ESI controller, which is in turn forwards the data to the central computer.
Sensors in the acid, chlorine and fertilizer tanks detect low liquid levels and transmit signal through the ESI controller to the chemical suppliers via e-mail.

Volumetric soil moisture sensor based on TDT (Time Domain Transmissometry) provides fast and accurate response to changes in soil moisture. The Gro-PointTM measures a large soil volume and is suitable for all soil types.
Gro-pointTM soil sensors are used to detect moisture levels in the tree pots. The goal is to activate the irrigation cycles based on the soil moisture data collected by the controller.
Farmers normally water their plants on time basis, independent of the moisture levels in the soil.
Activating the irrigation system based on moisture levels will save water, energy and labor for the farmers.
