ESI Controllers:
The Intelligent Control Systems TM
These controllers are designed to be modular, versatile, and adaptable to both simple and complex agricultural operations. With unlimited input and output capabilities, they provide the growers with real time irrigation by controlling the soil moisture in the root zone of the plants using readings taken during the actual irrigation cycles.
The Intelligent Control System is a management tool that allows growers to increase their productivity by maintaining soil moisture within precise limits, thus managing the many factors that affect plant growth and profitability.
At the heart of the Intelligent Irrigation System is the AquaLink Software that operates the various input and output modules. The system can control pumps, filters, fertilizer and chemical injectors, and valves. It can monitor system performance via flow meters, flow switches, pressure gauges and virtually any digital and analog input sensors.
Control Features:
- Modular design with radio options
- Flexible irrigation programming
- Operates in manual, semi-automatic or full automatic mode
- Monitoring & control functions are performed on a farm map using a desk top computer
- Unlimited number of valves/shift
- 50 shifts, programmable into cycles
- 12 different cycles
- Each Cycle has 2 program series
- No limit to the number of outputs (valves)
- Outputs are independently programmed and can be grouped or sequenced
- Inter-valve delay time
- Valve operation can be controlled based on time, flow, or zone moisture basis
- Up to 12 main pumps or master valves
- 12 hydraulic groups to allow different pumps and valves to be operate independently from other groups, with separate flow calculations per group.
- Filter flushing on time basis or pressure differential
- 6 individually programmable fertilizer/chemical controls
- Multiple fertilization program
- Data is stored in a database; report manager software is used for quick data reports.
- Full graphing of logged data

Eldar Shany Controllers:
Eldar Shany is a manufacturer of irrigation Controllers and climate control systems. They have a range of products from field controllers to desk top, central control automation systems. They have also integrated their technologies by developing fertigation machines that can operate and monitor an entire greenhouse environment.
The irrigation controllers have the capability for running software tuned to Greenhouse irrigation and fertigation control; Greenhouse climate control, and Open field irrigation control.
The integrated solutions consist of three main lines of products:
- FertiMix: an irrigation and fertigation mixer, normally used in a soil-less media
- FertiGal: an irrigation and fertigation system for
greenhouses and climate
control
- FertiJet: a fertigation system
with two injection ports

Netafim Controllers:
In 2003 Netafim lunched a new automation program focusing on Crop Management Technologies. They have introduced several new products to the market:
NMC-15 Controller: A low cost stand alone controller for irrigation and fertigation control and monitoring. This controller offers 15 outputs, 6 pulsed and 5 analog inputs, 8 filter flushing options, and EC & pH monitoring. It has build in surge protection on its power supply and all inputs and outputs.
NMC-64 Controller: Specifically designed for agricultural irrigation and fertigation market, this controller has up to 64 outputs, up to 16 pulsed and 22 analog inputs, with 3 pump starts, 10 sequential programs, 60 start times/programs, 8 filter flushing, and 40 misting programs, and EC & pH monitoring and control. A memory key for program back-up is also included with this controller.
PC Software control option via wire, radio, phone or cell communication will be introduced shortly for both controllers.
IrriWiseTM
Wireless Crop Monitoring System utilizes
license radio frequency to continuously collect real-time data from field sensors and transmit data to a PC computer. User friendly software interprets and graphs the data for real-time decision making. Sensors presently offered are Gro-Point TM soil moisture sensors, tensiometer measurement, weather station parameters, and water meters.
